JONIX AND THE SANITISATION OF PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENTS: HEALTHY AIR, MORE PRODUCTIVITY, LESS SICK LEAVE

Inside air can have many unwanted guests (and they affect your work!)

Air quality in closed spaces, such as, offices and studios, is a fundamental part to the quality of both work and life. Being aware of what you breathe is important in order to identify problems and find adequate solutions. Indoor environments, moreover, as seen during the recent Covid-19 pandemic, are places with a high risk of infection. To avoid this, many companies are promoting and shifting to smart working, not always successfully, or satisfactory for employees. Are there other solutions to live inside without risks? The quality of the air plays a fundamental role: if ventilation is not enough, to ensure safety inside the workplace it is essential to ensure the CONTINUOUS sanitisation of the air to reduce pathogens as soon as they circulate due to breathing.

Most modern offices have air-conditioning, which means that doors and windows are sealed. This prevents the air from changing, allowing the accumulation of pollutants. Poor air quality in buildings has a direct effect on work, it can also decrease productivity (by up to 6-9%*), as well as causing various health-related problems, increasing sick leave and personnel costs. Pollutants are viruses and bacteria that favour rapid infections, as seen with the spread of Covid-19 in the workplace, but also the so-called VOCs emitted by non-certified construction materials, furniture and furnishings, cleaning products, work tools (PCs, printers, glues, etc.).

Airborne contaminants have long been associated with the onset of Sick Building Syndrome, a set of symptoms and discomfort (headache and asthenia, chronically irritated airways, eye fatigue and discomfort and even skin problems) due to prolonged stay in unhealthy buildings. These disorders can become chronic and more severe in association with legionellosis 1, aspergillosis, bronchial asthma and allergic alveolitis.

With Jonix you can change air without changing jobs

To ensure productivity, well-being and a fully efficient working capacity, the workplace must have precise health characteristics; it must be comfortable and safe.

To be sure of eliminating all airborne pollutants, viruses and bacteria (including Covid-19), it is important to use a suitable tool. Jonix devices reduce contaminants and make the air cleaner and healthier thanks to the cold plasma technology (Non-Thermal Plasma - NTP), considered safe and effective by the scientific world. NTP differs from other purification technologies because it is a no-touch sanitisation technology, it does not use or release residual chemicals and can be used for a long time in the presence of people without side effects. Jonix devices for sanitising offices and indoor professional spaces continuously decontaminate environments, while people are present and can benefit from the positive effects of clean air and healthier environments for a long time.
